BioD-Plantbed is composed of a 3 - 4 in thick pad of mattress fiber encased in a case made of BioD-Mat 40 woven coir blanket. The mattress coir pad holds seeds in place and provides a suitable medium for germinating seeds. The 3 - 4 in thick RoLanka coir plantbed comes in 2.7 ft (0.8 m) wide and 4.2 ft (1.25m) long pads. Excellent for making floating islands to spawning grounds for aquatic animals.
